With the ever-rising issue of violence in our society, the potential of being involved in an active shooting scenario or confronted by an aggressive person are all too prevalent. This presentation will provide key strategies in recognizing, responding and understanding violence.

About the event
The intent of this training to make one aware of the characteristics of a potentially violent situation, to empower each of us to respond in ways to enhance the humanity component between us all, and to employ our intuition and self-awareness to listen and respond to ourselves with the same care and concern as we give so freely to others.
With the ever-rising issue of violence in our society, the potential of being involved in an active shooting scenario, confronted by an aggressive or agitated person, or managing a dissatisfying relationship, are all too prevalent, and more life threatening than ever before. Designed to aid in acknowledging, empowering, and honoring the knowledge within to be more attentive to the signs of potential violence, this presentation will provide key strategies in recognizing, responding and understanding violence.
